Open Artist Studio
Our club offers members the opportunity to participate in an art studio at no additional cost. Members are invited to come and paint with other members each Friday morning at our new location Centenary United Methodist Church,1501 Rivermont Ave, Lynchburg, VA. There is parking in the back of the church. From the back parking lot, cross the road and enter the church at the door on the left side. Our room is open and available from 9:00 AM to noon. Most of us are there between from 10:00 AM and noon. If the door is locked, go in the front door to Kathleen's office. Click here for more location information.
Lynchburg Community Market artwork change out:
June 17: Deadline for submitting your artwork list to Ginny Van Gurp for the Lynchburg Community Market gallery months of July, August & September.
- 3 paintings, plus prints, cards & art books (leftover left cards & prints can be re-submitted but they must be on your list again)
- Remember: Must have your list with title, medium & price by the due date or they cannot be shown.
- Painting tags
June 28: Pick up & drop off date, 10am-12noon. This is NOT a Monday, it is a Friday. Deliver new artwork to the Market and pick up old artwork. Hanging fee $5.00 per artist. Ginny will need help that morning with getting the new gallery set up. For information contact Ginny Van Gurp. ginnyvg@hotmail.com
James River Conference Center artwork change out:
JUNE 17 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
You encouraged to bring in new works to replace the old or, if you have not yet done so, bring some of your work in for exhibition.

Club art show at 2nd Helpings Gallery in Roanoke. There may be room for each member to hang two paintings.
Don't forget to sign up with Melinda Arthur as soon as possible for the 2nd Helpings Gallery Show in August! The show hangs on July 29th & runs through August 24, with our reception on Saturday, August 10. melindaarthur@mac.com or 434-851-4159
